Recovery, reimbursement of moneys.

30:4C-34 Recovery, reimbursement of moneys. 34. Whenever the Division of Child Protection and Permanency shall recover or receive reimbursement of any moneys paid to any individual or organization for the maintenance of a child, the moneys so recovered or received shall be credited to the State treasury or to the Federal Government in the same proportion as they were charged in the original instance. The division is hereby authorized to take all necessary and proper action under the laws of this State for the recovery of any moneys wrongfully received or retained by any individual or organization, or for the recovery from the person or persons responsible under the laws of this State for the support of the child the value of maintenance furnished to the child.
