Continuance of settlement; abandonment

30:4-50. Continuance of settlement; abandonment A patient who shall have acquired a legal settlement in any county shall retain his settlement until he shall have acquired a legal settlement in some other county; but such settlement shall be deemed to have been abandoned by residence without the state for a period of one year or more.
