30:4-123.46. Application of act a. Except as otherwise provided by this act, this act shall apply to all persons now serving or hereafter sentenced or committed to State correctional facilities and to all persons now serving or hereafter sentenced to county jails, workhouses or penitentiaries. b. In the case of persons now serving sentences or committed, the board hereinafter established may postpone for a reasonable period of time not to exceed 6 months from the effective date of this act the application of this act in order to permit an orderly conversion to the system hereinafter established.
