30:1-19. Federal aid for hospitals; State agency designated to receive moneys The State Department of Institutions and Agencies is hereby authorized to receive from the Federal Government any moneys which the Federal Government shall offer to the State of New Jersey to assist the State to inventory its hospitals, to survey the need for construction of hospitals, to develop a program for construction of public and other nonprofit hospitals and to construct such hospitals in accordance with such program, and generally for all the purposes for which any such moneys shall be offered under or pursuant to any Federal law heretofore or hereafter enacted authorizing grants to the States for such purposes or for similar purposes, including payment to political subdivisions of, and public or other nonprofit agencies in the State. As used in this act, the term "hospitals" includes public health centers and related facilities. L.1947, c. 83, p. 463, s. 1.
