Grand jury clerks

2B:4-4. Grand jury clerks a. The assignment judge of each county may appoint and set the salary of a clerk for the grand jury. The salary of the grand jury clerk shall be paid by the county. b. The assignment judge of each county may appoint and set the salary of such assistants to the clerk of the grand jury as may be necessary for the operation of the grand jury.
