Expenses of State grand jury

2B:22-8. Expenses of State grand jury a. The State shall pay the expenses of impaneling and operating a State grand jury out of funds appropriated for this purpose to the Division of Criminal Justice in the Department of Law and Public Safety. b. The expenses incurred by a county for the prosecution and trial of a State grand jury indictment shall be paid by the State out of funds appropriated for this purpose to the Division of Criminal Justice in the Department of Law and Public Safety. The county treasurer shall make application for payment of the expenses to the Assignment Judge of the county, and the Assignment Judge shall fix and certify the amount of the expenses.
