2B:12-24. Costs charged to complainant in certain cases 2B:12-24. Costs charged to complainant in certain cases. In cases where the judge of a municipal court dismisses the complaint or acquits the defendant and finds that the charge was false and not made in good faith, the judge may order that the complaining witness pay the costs of court established by law.
