Parties having unencumbered shares not affected by proceedings

2A:56-22. Parties having unencumbered shares not affected by proceedings The proceedings to ascertain and settle the amount of encumbrances as herein provided shall not affect any other party in the action for partition nor delay the paying over or investing of moneys to or for the benefit of any party except the one upon whose share in the premises the encumbrances exist.
