2A:33-19. Actions against distrainor; double costs in certain cases In any action brought to recover damages for an alleged wrongful distress or wrongful act after distraint, a defendant, in whose favor judgment is rendered, shall be entitled to recover double costs. L.1951 (1st SS), c.344.
