Continuing liability on bond

2A:27-3. Continuing liability on bond A judgment in an action upon an official bond, although satisfied and discharged of record, shall not operate to discharge the public officer or his sureties from liability on the bond; but new actions may be commenced on such bond as often as circumstances require.
