2A:162-7. Money collected on forfeited recognizances paid to county treasurer Every sheriff, prosecutor or clerk of any court who shall collect or receive any money on any forfeited recognizance, whether before or after execution, or from any amercement awarded by any court against any offender, shall, within 10 days after collecting or receiving the same, pay over the same to the treasurer of the county wherein such forfeiture was had or amercement awarded, for the use of the county.
