Actions for assault, battery, imprisonment, libel or slander

2A:15-63. Actions for assault, battery, imprisonment, libel or slander If, in an action for damages based upon an assault, battery or imprisonment or for libel or slander, plaintiff does not recover damages to the amount of $50, his costs shall not exceed the damages recovered.
