Inspection for compliance with respect to registration

29:4-2. Inspection for compliance with respect to registration It shall be the duty of the sheriff or his deputies, any member of an organized police department and any member of the State Police, in whose jurisdiction any of the above-mentioned places may be located, to inspect such place from time to time at any hour of the day or night, to see that the provisions of this act are being complied with.
