27:7-52. Wharfage charges; regulations; lease with option to buy The department shall prescribe such charges for the use of the piers or wharves and make such rules and regulations governing them as to it may seem reasonable and necessary. The piers, wharves or docks may be rented or leased by the commissioner for a period not to exceed ten years, with the privilege of purchasing at actual cost at the expiration of the lease.
