Liability of department employees or private persons for removal

27:7-21.11. Liability of department employees or private persons for removal Neither the commissioner nor any officer or employee of the department acting under the authority of this act may be held liable to any person for any claim arising out of or resulting from such removal except for malicious wrong. Any other person acting for the commissioner or an officer or employee of the department in the removal or storage of a motor vehicle or other object under this act shall be under the same duties and obligations as if he were performing a service at the request of the owner of the vehicle or object.
