27:5-17. Enforcement by commissioner 13. Any penalty imposed pursuant to this act may be collected, with costs, in a summary proceeding pursuant to "the penalty enforcement law," N.J.S. 2A:58-1 et seq. The Superior Court or municipal court in the county or municipality where the violation occurs or where the violator resides, has a place of business or principal office shall have jurisdiction to enforce the provisions of "the penalty enforcement law" in connection with this act. The commissioner may institute an action in the Superior Court for injunctive relief to prevent and restrain any violation of this act, or any order issued, or rule or regulation adopted pursuant to this act.
