27:5-14. Licenses or permits; renewals 10. a. Renewal of any license or permit issued after the effective date of this act may be refused for any ground sufficient for the revocation of a license or permit. b. Licenses and permits for signs erected and maintained with a valid license or permit issued before the effective date of this act shall be renewed unless the commissioner finds that a statement made in the license or permit application is materially false or the sign has been erected or maintained contrary to the terms of the issued license or permit, in the event of which the commissioner may take any appropriate action under the authority of this act.
