Appropriation for operating expenses of New Jersey Transit Corporation

27:1B-21.9. Appropriation for operating expenses of New Jersey Transit Corporation 16. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, in any fiscal year in which the amount allocated by the Federal Government to the New Jersey Transit Corporation for public transportation operating expenses is less than in the previous fiscal year, an amount equal to the diminution may be appropriated from the revenues and other funds of the authority, excluding bond proceeds, to the department for the operating expenses of the New Jersey Transit Corporation, subject to approval therefor provided in the annual appropriations act.
