27:1B-21.27. Park-and-ride facility expansion, report to Governor and Legislature 14. No later than July 1, 2001, the commissioner shall report to the Governor and the Legislature on steps which the commissioner recommends to provide for the establishment or expansion of park-and-ride facilities in areas of traffic congestion throughout the State and shall establish a goal of establishing or expanding at least two park-and-ride facilities in each of the successive 2001-2002, 2002-2003, 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 fiscal years. In the event that the department does not establish or expand at least two park-and-ride facilities in each of the preceding fiscal years, the commissioner shall report to the Governor and the Legislature the reasons for the failure to establish or expand such facilities.
