Acquisition of property and rights therein; payment

27:19-5. Acquisition of property and rights therein; payment In order to carry out the provisions of sections 27:19-1 to 27:19-4 of this title the board or boards, as the case may be, of chosen freeholders may acquire by gift, purchase or condemnation any lands, lands under water, riparian rights, or any other property, rights, privileges or franchises, required for the construction of such viaduct or bridge and its approaches, or any part thereof, and pay for the same and the expenses of acquiring the same, out of any moneys applicable to the construction of such viaduct or bridge.
