Title vests upon payment of award; right of entry

27:16-66. Title vests upon payment of award; right of entry Upon the acceptance of the award, or the payment thereof into the Superior Court, title to the real estate or right or interest therein shall vest in the county, and the board of chosen freeholders may thereupon enter upon and take possession of the real estate or right or interest therein and remove all persons therefrom. Amended by L.1953, c. 27, p. 495, s. 21.
