Payment of award; removal of buildings

27:16-61. Payment of award; removal of buildings After the filing and recording of the award the owner shall have sixty days from the date of the filing and recording within which to remove the building and the amount awarded therefor may be paid when the building has been so removed. If not so removed, and no appeal shall have been taken from the award, the building may be removed by the county and the cost thereof may be deducted from that portion of the award, but the owner shall not be liable for any excess cost of removal above the amount awarded therefor.
