26:8-67 Duty of county prosecutor. 26:8-67. Duty of county prosecutor. When the State registrar shall deem it necessary, he shall report any violation of any provision of R.S.26:6-1 et seq., R.S.26:8-1 et seq., R.S.37:1-1 et seq. or P.L.2006, c.103 (C.37:1-28 et al.), to the county prosecutor, with a statement of the facts and circumstances. Upon such report, the county prosecutor shall forthwith institute and prosecute the necessary proceedings for such alleged violation. Amended 1965, c.78, s.76; 2006, c.103, s.61.
