26:8-33. Report by father or mother In case the father or mother of the child does not, within one month after the date of birth, receive a notice from the local registrar that the birth of the child has been recorded, as provided in this chapter, the father or mother of the child, in the order named, shall within five days thereafter, report to the local registrar the fact of such birth.
