Term of office

26:8-13. Term of office The term of office of a local registrar shall be 3 years and he shall serve until his successor has been appointed and qualified. If the local registrar is the municipal clerk, his term of office shall be concurrent with his term of office as clerk, and he shall be subject to all rules and regulations of the State registrar.
