26:6-90 Notification of death to procurement organization. 14. A person who seeks to facilitate the making of an anatomical gift, for the purposes of transplantation or therapy, from a decedent who was not a hospital patient at the time of death shall notify the procurement organization at or around the time of the person's death in order to allow the organization to at least initially evaluate the potential donation and coordinate the donation process, as applicable.
