26:4-20. Transmission of duplicate of report from institutions in certain cases Every person designated by any local board of health to receive reports of communicable diseases who shall receive any report of sickness from a physician, superintendent or other person having charge over any institution referred to in section 26:4-19 of this title shall, when the sick person referred to in the report resides in some municipality other than that in which the institution is located, make a duplicate of any such report received by him and transmit the same, within twenty-four hours after the receipt of the original, by mail, to the officer designated to receive the reports in the locality in which the sick person resided before being admitted into the institution.
