26:4-17. Physicians to report persons affected with disease on dairy premises Every physician who shall attend any person ill or infected with any communicable disease required by law or the State Sanitary Code to be reported, on any premises where milk is produced for sale or distribution, shall report such fact to the State Department of Health within 12 hours after he has first ascertained that any such person is ill or infected with any of said diseases. The report shall be in writing and shall state the nature of the disease, the name of the person who is ill or infected with the disease, the location of the place where the person is ill or infected, the name of the owner or manager of the dairy premises if the same can be ascertained and such other information as may be required by regulation of the State Department of Health.
