26:3-92. Powers, duties and jurisdiction of regional health commission Each regional health commission shall have jurisdiction in matters of public health within the geographic area of the participating municipalities. It shall succeed to all powers and perform all the duties conferred and imposed upon the municipal boards of health which it shall have superseded and, in addition, shall have all the powers and perform all the duties within the geographic area of the participating municipalities which by law are conferred and imposed upon any township, city or other local board of health in this State.
