26:3-64. Ordinance- and rule-making power The local board of health may enact and amend health ordinances, and make and alter necessary rules and regulations in the execution of any power delegated to it or in the performance of any duty imposed upon it by law, subject to the limitations specified in section 26:2-28 of this title. An ordinance or rule of the local board shall be in force only within the jurisdiction of the board which enacts it.
