26:2K-9.1 Mobile integrated health program established, Department of Health. 12. a. The Department of Health shall establish a mobile integrated health program. In establishing the mobile integrated health program, the Department of Health shall consider relevant standards and criteria developed or adopted by nationally recognized agencies or organizations, as well as recommendations of interested stakeholders, including, but not limited to, the State Trauma System Advisory Committee and the Mobile Intensive Care Advisory Council. b. The Department of Health shall establish, in writing, criteria by which an entity may apply for and receive authorization from the department to participate in the mobile integrated health program, and criteria by which an entity may lose authorization to participate in the mobile integrated health program. c. The Commissioner of Health shall adopt rules and regulations as are necessary to effectuate the provisions of this section, which rules and regulations shall be effective immediately upon filing with the Office of Administrative Law for a period not to exceed 18 months, and shall, thereafter, be amended, adopted, or readopted in accordance with the provisions of the "Administrative Procedure Act," P.L.1968, c.410 (C.52:14B-1 et seq.)."
