Partial invalidity

26:2H-24. Partial invalidity If any clause, sentence, paragraph, subsection or section of this act shall be adjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the judgment shall not affect, impair or invalidate the remainder thereof, but shall be confined in its operation to the clause, sentence, paragraph, subsection or section thereof directly involved in the controversy in which this judgment shall have been rendered.
