26:2H-18.60c Required procedures by hospitals for charity care. 3. The Commissioner of Health shall require the use of procedures by hospitals to ensure their uniform collection from applicants for charity care pursuant to section 10 of P.L.1992, c.160 (C.26:2H-18.60) and the transmission to the Department of Health of demographic and financial information as the commissioner requires pursuant to section 14 of P.L.1995, c.133 (C.26:2H-18.59c) and any other information that the commissioner determines necessary to ensure the efficient, cost-effective operation of the hospital charity care subsidy program and to prevent and detect fraudulent charity care claims.
