26:2C-8.47 Consultation when adopting rules, regulations. 22. Except as may otherwise be provided in rules and regulations jointly adopted pursuant to subsection e. of section 6, and section 21 of P.L.2005, c.219 (C.26:2C-8.31 and C.26:2C-8.46), the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission shall consult with the Department of Environmental Protection and the Department of Law and Public Safety when adopting rules and regulations pursuant to P.L.1995, c.157 (C.39:8-59 et al.) to ensure the proper coordination between the periodic inspection program and the roadside enforcement program and the implementation and enforcement of the provisions of P.L.2005, c.219 (C.26:2C-8.26 et al.).
