26:2-169 Criteria for compulsive gambling programs; grants. 2. The Department of Human Services shall develop criteria which prevention, education, and treatment programs for compulsive gamblers shall meet in order to become eligible for a grant from the funds made available for such programs pursuant to section 145 of P.L.1977, c.110 (C.5:12-145). The department shall also develop a formula for the distribution of available funds which will result in an equitable distribution among the programs which meet the eligibility criteria and apply for grants. The department shall submit a report to the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee and the Assembly Appropriations Committee, or their successors, describing the criteria developed pursuant to this section and detailing the amount of grants distributed and the names of the programs receiving grants.
