Meetings of Public Health Council

26:1A-6. Meetings of Public Health Council The Public Health Council shall enact and from time to time may amend rules in relation to its meetings and the transaction of its business. It shall meet in the offices of the department at Trenton in each month at such times as its rules may prescribe. It shall meet at such other times and places within the State as, in its judgment, may be necessary. Four members of the council shall constitute a quorum thereof and, except as otherwise provided in section seven of this act, all action shall be taken by a majority vote. The commissioner shall attend all meetings of the council. The council shall elect one of its members chairman who shall hold office for one year and until his successor shall be elected. The council shall keep complete and accurate minutes of all its meetings, hearings, and other sessions. All such minutes shall be retained in a permanent record, and shall be available for public inspection at all times during the office hours of the department. L.1947, c. 177, p. 794, s. 6.
