Failure to obey subpoena; penalty

26:1A-48. Failure to obey subpoena; penalty Any person who, being served with a subpoena issued pursuant to the provisions of section forty-seven of this act, shall fail to attend or give testimony, unless such testimony incriminate him or subject him to a fine or punishment, shall be liable to a penalty of five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each offense, to be recovered in the name of the State; the penalty, when recovered, to be paid to the State Treasurer.
