26:1A-46. Administering oaths; examining witnesses; perjury The commissioner and any member of the department authorized for such purpose by him, may, in any part of the State, administer oaths and examine witnesses under oath in any matter relating to the powers and duties of the department, or to the health of the people of the State, or to the prevention of disease. Any persons who, having been so sworn, willfully gives false testimony shall be guilty of perjury. L.1947, c. 177, p. 811, s. 46.
