26:1A-37.6 New Jersey Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. 2. There is established in the Department of Health a New Jersey Council on Physical Fitness and Sports which shall serve the citizens of the State by developing safe, healthful, and enjoyable physical fitness and sports programs. The council shall provide instruments of motivation and education, and shall promote public awareness to ensure that all citizens of the State have the opportunity to pursue a more healthful lifestyle.
