26:1A-37.2. Information and data confidential; disclosure; exceptions Information and data in the possession of the State Department of Health, pertaining to the health of any named person, procured in connection with research studies approved by the Public Health Council for the purpose of reducing the morbidity or mortality from any cause or condition of health shall be kept in the confidence of the department and shall not be revealed or disclosed in any manner or under any circumstances by any person connected with such research studies or by the department or any person therein except (a) to persons within the department, (b) to other persons participating in such research studies or (c) in such impersonal form that the individual to whom the information or data relates cannot be identified therefrom.
