26:1A-24. Contract of commissioner where local board fails to perform Any contracts which the commissioner may make for the purpose of carrying out the power given to him in the second paragraph of section twenty-three of this act shall be binding upon the local municipality and shall have the same force and effect as if duly authorized and made by the local board of health.
