26:1A-111. Director; compensation; term The director shall be deemed to be a full-time State official and he shall be paid such compensation as shall be provided by law. The director shall serve during the term of office of the Governor but he shall continue in office after the expiration of his term until his successor shall be appointed and shall qualify; provided, however, that the director in office on the effective date of this act shall complete the term to which he was appointed.
