Action to restrain violations

24:5A-9. Action to restrain violations The department either before or after the institution of a proceeding for the collection of a penalty for violation of any provision of this act or regulations promulgated thereunder may institute an action in the Superior Court in the name of the State at the relation of the department to restrain such violation and for such other or further relief as the court shall deem proper. L.1966, c. 262, s. 9.
