Disposition of dead animals

24:16B-18. Disposition of dead animals The board shall prescribe such rules and regulations for the disposition of animal carcasses as it may deem necessary to discover and control contagious, infectious or communicable animal diseases and to protect the public health and welfare. Any person owning or having custody of an animal that has died shall dispose of the carcass in accordance with such rules and regulations and under such conditions as the board prescribes. No secondary licensee shall remove, render, or otherwise dispose of any animal except in accordance with such rules and regulations and under such conditions as the board prescribes.
