23:9-114. License to take shad with net required It shall be unlawful for any person to fish with, fix, fasten, draw, or drift any net of whatever description for the purpose of taking shad in the waters of the Hudson river within the jurisdiction of the state of New Jersey without first having procured a license so to do.
