Sale of bittersweet prohibited; penalty; enforcement

23:4-64. Sale of bittersweet prohibited; penalty; enforcement It shall be unlawful to take for the purpose of sale, sell, or expose for sale, any bittersweet growing in the wild, under a penalty of ten dollars for each offense. This section shall not apply to the sale of this vine in any form for medicinal purposes. This section shall be enforced by the persons authorized and in accordance with the provisions of chapter 10 of this title (s. 23:10-1 et seq.).
