Failure to turn over moneys by clerk, warden or magistrate; misdemeanor

23:3-15. Failure to turn over moneys by clerk, warden or magistrate; misdemeanor A county or municipal clerk or an agent who fails to turn over any moneys collected for licenses, and a magistrate who fails to turn over any moneys collected as a penalty, at the time and in the manner required by law, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
