18A:7C-2.1 Certain computer science course may satisfy requirement for mathematics credits. 1. Beginning with the 2016-2017 grade nine class, the State Board of Education shall require that the local graduation requirements adopted by a board of education permit an Advanced Placement computer science course to satisfy a part of the total credit requirement in mathematics. For an Advanced Placement computer science course to satisfy a part of the mathematics credit requirement, the student must be concurrently enrolled in or have successfully completed algebra I and geometry or the content equivalent.
