18A:71B-9 False information; penalty. 18A:71B-9. False Information; Penalty. A person who knowingly and willfully furnishes any false or misleading information for the purpose of obtaining a scholarship or tuition assistance grant, or of enabling another to obtain a scholarship or tuition assistance grant under any program administered by the authority shall be guilty of a crime of the fourth degree. A statement to this effect shall be distributed with all State application forms utilized for any State scholarship or grant programs administered by the authority. L.1999,c.46,s.1.
