Approval of collegiate name

18A:67-2. Approval of collegiate name 18A:67-2. No institution which proposes to offer courses of study above high school grade, which courses satisfy in whole or in part the requirements for a college or university degree, shall adopt or use any title or name commonly accepted as descriptive of collegiate or university institutions without the approval of the Commission on Higher Education made under rules relating to names and titles of institutions adopted by the commission.
